I found myself standing on a bus stop, doing things people do standing on a bus stop. Kicking dirt from our feet, observing people go by -- getting on with their lives and at that point of time your life is at hold it depends on whether the bus is going to come or not. All you can do is wait, watch other people live and maybe glance at you occasionally but they keep going but you are static, you cannot get on, you have to stay and wait.
Sometimes you keep on waiting and waiting. Kicking dirt and stones gets boring, looking gets monotonous as you have grown used to the surroundings now, people don't surprise you anymore.
You don't know whether your bus will come or not. At that moment life presents one of the most toughest dilemmas. You can either keep waiting for the bus that will take you to your destination, it might come .. maybe it got stuck somewhere but it isn't then you keep waiting and then you will be late and you just might miss what you wanted. Or you can leave the bus stop and start looking for other ways in which you can reach our destination, you may not find one.
It may so happen that the bus has already crossed the stop and maybe you were just a minute late or something, you are then waiting in vain. Or maybe the second you make up your mind and leave the stop, a second later the bus comes and you miss it because you don't see it now, you have already left, if you had waited a second longer you might have reached your destination.
But a time will come when have to make a decision, it may be hard, both choices equally hard but you are a choice maker and you make your choice .... who knows it is the right or the wrong one ?? But is the choice that you made and you have to live with it. Better Make It Count.
I thought of this while actually standing on a bus stop. Its an example how even the simplest things in life teach you so much, but have to see the other side of the picture life is showing you and you will see IT .... in that moment while you are standing on the bus stop where every second matters and you have a choice. You might learn a thing or two.
